The Project The “New Frontiers in Food – Fast Forward” (NF4) project is a fast track internationalization accelerator for innovation-intensive food SMEs. On November 20th a China delegation visited Foodvalley NL to explore new opportunities for collaboration. The delegation consisted of the plant cultivation and breeding company Shouguang as well as the Food Valley China cluster. In an interactive meeting the actictivies and interests of all parties involved were highlighted. The New Frontiers in Food consortium organized a business drink named ‘Get Together’ with Belgian-Beers from the Belgium cluster, Wagralim, during SIAL Paris.This was the great time to meet the New Frontiers in Food consortium team and interact with French and Belgian companies.We also welcomed the “Guangdong (China) Imported Food Association” delegation who has a wide network in the southern China, and The “National Confederation of Industry” Brazil delegation, the voice of the Brazilian industry.Thank you for your contribution, we are looking forward to meet you at the next event!
During the Foodvalley Summit on “Sports & Nutrition” the New Frontiers in Food Fast Forward (NF4) project organized the first Tech Road Show, in the future World Food Center in Ede, The Netherlands. During this international event, more than 100 companies were present from over 15 different countries. In the session ‘New markets outside Europe 2018-2019’, discussion and interaction between SME’s interested in the NF4-project took place. The NF4-clusters Clusaga, Valorial, Wagralim and Foodvalley NL jointly participated in the Tech Road Show. Five European food clusters have united in the New Frontiers in Food Fast Forward (NF4) project to help small and medium sized companies enter other major global markets, and innovative sports nutrition firms could be particularly well-positioned to benefit.
